This Smartphone is from Future ?
this phone has some features that you have never seen before. Yes, I’m not kidding. Let me just show it to you. Can you come a little close? You see this blue and white element? This is not a design gimmick. It’s an actual liquid moving inside the phone to keep it cool. This is the first smartphone in the world to come with liquid cooling.
But that’s not all. This phone has so many cool things that it’s straight out of 2030. This is the all new Noia Red Magic 11 and it’s the most futuristic phone that I’ve ever seen. I’m super excited to tell you everything about this phone. So, let’s quickly get started.
First of all, the design of this phone is definitely a conversation starter. I mean, whenever I took this phone out, people just couldn’t stop staring. And some of them even stopped me to ask which phone is this? It’s that eye-catchy. The whole industrial design vibe is actually quite refreshing. And because the back glass is transparent, you can see the screws and also the liquid moving. The top has this Red Magic logo which can also light up if you want. And there’s this text written at the bottom.
One thing that I absolutely love is that there’s no camera bump at all here. All the cameras are tucked inside the back and the phone lays completely flat like this. Honestly, it’s great while gaming because the pump usually makes your hand uncomfortable.
Now, apart from the back, the frame of the phone is also quite special. For starters, it’s a metal frame, so durability is not a problem. And secondly, you get these inbuilt triggers here, so you can game using these two. A lot of gamers actually prefer physical triggers like these, so it’s great for them. And yeah, just like the Red Magic logo, these light up too.
And if I talk about the rest of the sides, on the top you get a headphone jack and at the bottom you get fast type-C port. And oh, I almost forgot about these. These are actually cooling vents. And you’ll find one on each side.
Now, you must be wondering why does this even have cooling vents if it’s liquid cooled? A very valid question. And the answer to that is this. Yes, this phone also comes with a built-in cooling fan. It can spin at 24,000 RPM to keep things cool. This one takes in the cool air. And this one throws out the hot air.
And even though this phone has so much going on at the back, it still comes with wireless charging support. There’s 7500 mAh battery inside and the weight is also 3 g less than 17 Pro Max. The IP rating is only thing that doesn’t feel flagship because of all the holes it has. But the rest of the phone is completely fine.
Now, before I get to the display, let me just show you how exactly liquid cooling works on this phone. Basically, this cooling loop is a liquid carrying tube, but it’s not just this much. There’s a lot that’s just hidden inside. There’s some part at the bottom, some at the top, and ultimately it goes all the way to the fans as well as the processor to make sure they stay cool.
And to make this liquid move, there’s a piece of electric motor at the bottom that just vibrates to pump the liquid. This is pretty much like the liquid cooling that we see in the PCs. And to start the cooling, you just have to press this button and you’ll see the liquid moving. And if you long press, you can see these different controls too. You can set it to automatically start while fast charging. You can also set the liquid flow to either quick or slow. And if you’re gaming, the liquid cooling will start automatically.
It’s really fascinating to see liquid cooling work that neatly on a phone. I think Apple will be very surprised when they discover this in about 10 years.
Let’s talk about the display now because it’s also quite special. I say this because there’s no selfie camera cutout. Yes, it’s a complete display without any cutout. And if you’re wondering about the selfie camera, well, it’s here. It’s actually hidden under the display and it only shows up when you need it.
The underd display selfie camera is obviously not as good as the usual ones, but for casual selfies or video calls, it’s okay. And for the display, it’s a 6.85 in 1.5K AMOLED panel that goes plenty bright and the refresh rate is also 144 Hz. It’s not an LTPO panel, but the fingerprint scanner is ultrasonic here. The multimedia experience is also good as you get HDR support on YouTube and the stereo speakers are also pretty loud.
Let’s talk about the performance now because I’m sure you’re most interested in that, right? Okay, so this phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. And there’s a dedicated gaming chip too because why not?
And since this is so powerful, there are three cooling mechanisms. First is obviously the liquid cooling which I just talked about. Then there’s this fan at the back. But that’s not all. It also has one of the biggest VC cooling chambers on a phone. So yeah, ideally this phone should not lose its cool even if we stress test it like crazy.
But you know what? It’s not always the case. See, in benchmarks, this phone scores the highest in N2 and that too without even getting warm. It gets a score of 4.2 million and with a temperature reading of 38°. The Geekben GPU and Geekben CPU readings are also fine, but in solar bay test, I found something very interesting here. It doesn’t score the best, but the lowest score is almost the double of what others could manage and the stability is also very high.
Now, these were the results when the fan and the liquid cooling were turned on. But when we turned them off, the entry reading did drop slightly, but the temperature difference was huge. With cooling, it was just 38°. But without cooling, it reached to 47°. And for 3D Mark and Solar B, the difference was even more because without the cooling, it was overheating and was crashing in between. But with the cooling, the highest temperature that we ever saw was just 39°.
So that was all about benchmarks. But the story of gaming is uh completely different. The phone obviously gives you tremendous power to play games at the highest settings. The FPS is very stable. The game play was smooth. But when you really want to go all in, the temperatures also go all in.
Just to give you an idea, first I played Bthering Waves at the highest settings at 60 fps for 15 minutes and the temperatures were around 41°. And then I played at 120 FPS for only 7 minutes and the temperature shot up to 51°. And finally, when we played for the entire 30 minutes, it got extremely hot at 58°. That’s honestly the highest temperature I’ve ever seen on a phone. But the bright side is that the game play was still smooth and the frames were framing too.
And yeah, I also played Genshin for 30 minutes and the max temperature I saw there was 49°. See, for gaming, the cooling doesn’t actually bring down the temperature a lot, but that doesn’t mean it’s completely ineffective. It actually helps in sustaining the performance for long durations because other phones in the same situation would have just clashed.
Apart from the raw power, this phone has some pretty neat gaming features, too. So whenever you want to game, you can just slide up this dedicated gaming mode button and it launches a game space with all the installed games and you can play, stream or even emulate games. Nice.
Then there are these shoulder triggers which by the way are responsive to a point that it feels almost like cheating. The 4D vibration feature is on point. You also get motion controls, macros, crosshair filters like night vision so you can spot your enemies easily and a lot lot more. So the ultimate goal of this phone is to give you the peak performance no matter what. and it does that quite well.
Now, if you’re wondering how long this can last, well, the 7500 mAh battery can easily last six hours, even with super demanding games or benchmarks. And for charging, you get 80 watt support for both wired and wireless. You also get features like bypass charging, reverse wireless charging, and the inbox charger took the phone from 0 to 100 in just 53 minutes.
For connectivity, also, this phone has everything that you need. There’s Wi-Fi 6A, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and even a fast type-C port, which can also output display. So, you can do this. And of course, the headphone jack is great to have, especially for gamers.
Apart from that, the phone is running on Android 16, but since it’s a China unit, I won’t go too much into that. And for cameras, you get a 50 map main camera and 50 map ultra wide. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from the cameras, but the main camera does take some pretty usable shots. And the ultra wide is decent, too.
Now, with all of these specs, these features, liquid cooling, what the hell not, this phone should be very expensive, right? Right? Wrong. In fact, this phone is even cheaper than the iPhone 17. Yes, the Red Magic 11 launched in China for 5,700 yuan, which is roughly 75,000 rupees, and that is 8,000 cheaper than iPhone 17.
Honestly, this phone is so extreme in terms of specs and pricing that it doesn’t feel like this year’s phone. I think it’s a phone from the future that accidentally went on sale.
